**Job description**

Swifts breakfast & after school club are looking for a Play Worker to join their team.

Swifts is open Monday - Friday 7.30 - 9am and then from 3pm - 6pm. You must be able to commit to these hours every day.

We also open during the school holidays 7.30 - 6 so there is holiday work also available should you wish and should you require more hours during term time we have bank work at our nurseries between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
- Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age.
- Report any child safeguarding or protection matters, including allegations and serious accidents/injuries to management
- Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development

**Requirements and skills**:

- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
