In this thriving and well-established manufacturing business in Stoke-on-Trent, you will support the business moving forward on an exciting journey to achieve the next level of operational excellence.
As the **Credit Controller,** you will provide monthly updates on overdue debt, changes in credit limits, and report any issues across key accounts. In this role, you must have previous experience chasing debts across the UK and Internationally, with exposure to multiple currency ledgers.
Join this dynamic finance team as they embark on an exciting journey to automate their Finance processes during their new system integration and become a key part of their success.
**What we need from you?**
- Ensuring customers pay within their terms across 4 different ledgers - both UK and international.
- Resolving queries on invoices by liaising with customers and internal stakeholders, then providing further details to customers.
- Posting cash to ledgers and reconciling accounts.
- New customer onboarding and improving customer relations.
- Negotiating payment plans.
- Improve debt reporting.
- Initiating legal proceedings and liaising with Solicitors when required.
- Ensure the sales ledger data is reviewed in preparation for SAP implementation in May 2024.

**What you need to succeed?**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a dynamic department and chasing debts across the UK and internationally.
- Previous exposure to multi-currency ledgers.
- Experience in SAP Business 1 or a comparable ERP system.
- Ability to work autonomously and able to form strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
