Part-time Housekeeper

**PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR BUSY FAMILY HOME IN ESSEX**

**Location**: Loughton, Essex

**Contract**: Part-Time, Permanent

**Salary**: £17-£20 per hour, negotiable

**Status**: Live-out

Organised and child-friendly, you will be responsible for the general cleanliness and organisation of the home, ensuring that the home runs as smoothly as possible. Duties will include laundry and ironing, changing and making beds, grocery and household shopping as well as some basic meal preparation. You will be warm, friendly, and kind, yet boundaried and professional.

**DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Cleaning including dusting, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms
- All laundry and ironing, including organisation of linen cupboards etc.
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and organised, including periodic deep cleaning of appliances
- Organisation of storage areas such as closets, drawers and cupboards
- Purchasing household cleaning products and doing grocery shopping
- Receiving deliveries and putting items away
- Liaising with contractors and tradesmen
- Light meal preparation

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**:

- Prior Housekeeper experience in a private household
- Fluency in English both spoken and written
- Hardworking and dedicated
- High attention to detail
- Driver with a full, clean UK driving license & own reliable transport
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Excellent checkable references

Part-time hours: 12-20 per week

**Salary**: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
