We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounts Assistant to join a global insurance company. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, including bookkeeping, data entry, and providing support in the day-to-day operations of the finance department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual who is eager to contribute to the smooth functioning of our company's financial processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into the accounting system.
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor account balances.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department, such as filing documents and organizing financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for audits and tax filings.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity.
- A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
