School Cleaner

Accelerate Facilities are hiring a School Cleaner for our client site, Brooklands Primary School.

Hours: Part-time 10 hours per week Monday to Friday 4-6pm

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

The Role:
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard, including classrooms, hallways, staff rooms, toilets, and communal areas.
- Operate cleaning machinery in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely, following proper handling and storage procedures.
- Work closely with other members of the cleaning, caretaking and school staff.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning.
- Maintain a secure environment during cleaning hours.

**Requirements**:

- Enhanced DBS check (required due to the nature of working in a school environment).
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A positive attitude and respect for the school environment.
