Providing global retailers, distributors and brands with high quality competitor pricing and product intelligence requires bright, intellectually curious individuals with a work ethic to solve challenging and interesting problems. This starts with effective product comparison and data collection.

**The Role**:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to bring their expertise to Skuuudle as Head of Product Matching, a key role and contributor to our senior leadership team. Product Matching is the process of identifying which products two retailers have in common, and we have a large team and some great technology in place to do it.

In this pivotal role, you will bring a commitment to support your four dedicated team leaders and manage the product matching capability, which underpins Skuuudle’s differentiation for high quality competitor pricing intelligence.

You’ll guide 47 remote colleagues, towards maintaining exceptional product data standards and fostering continuous improvement. This collective approach will significantly contribute to providing our clients with strategic price decision-making processes.

**As the Head of Product Matching your responsibilities will include**:

- **Leadership Excellence**: Lead, mentor, and develop team leaders while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- **Talent Management**: Conduct staff interviews, streamline onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring the department is optimally equipped with high-calibre talent.
- **Strategic Ownership**: Take charge of the production schedule and set team-wide targets for productivity, timeliness, and quality.
- **Performance Management**: Implement ongoing performance management, including a regular bonus scheme, to recognise and motivate outstanding contributions.
- **Learning and Development**: Spearhead learning and development initiatives within your department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Maintain productive relationships with other Heads of Department and the Executive Leadership Team to align strategies and drive collective success.
- **Client Engagement**: Periodically connect with clients to gain insights into their requirements and expectations.
- **Reporting and Meetings**: Participate actively in business-wide leadership and operational meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to decision-making.

**What you will bring**:

- **Minimum of 2:1 at Bachelor Degree Level**
- **Proven leadership experience**:Ideally within a dynamic work environment, showcasing your ability to effectively lead and manage remote teams.
- **Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively** and maintain productive relationships with peers and stakeholders.
- **Commitment to fostering a culture** of learning and development within the team.
- **Strategic mindset**: for managing production schedules, setting team-wide targets, and aligning strategies with other departments.

**Location**: Flexible-hybrid model, with a minimum of 3 days from our Manchester HQ.
