As an Accounts Clerk your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
- Entering invoices/credits to the purchase ledger via sage auto entry, reconciling statements and price checking.
- Checking and entering daily takings and investigating any discrepancies.
- Maintaining sales ledger, including new accounts and credit control.
- Weekly bank reconciliation
- Assist in the end of month procedures up to trial balance within a specified time frame, including journals and detailed file management.
- Procurement.
- Maintaining and processing the payroll, including starter packs, holidays, new employees, leavers and the full payroll run using sage payroll.
- Any other duties as required.
- 24 hours per week
- Committed with previous experience of working within a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with individuals across all departments and liaise with external customers and contacts
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good time-management skill, ensuring prioritisation of tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Able to show initiative and make decisions
- Professional attitude - articulate, organised and customer focused
- Intermediate experience of Excel, Word & Outlook, Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll, with an aptitude for numbers
