An exceptional opportunity has become available to become a Support Worker for an 8-year-old little girl. This funny, chatty, busy, happy little girl has Cerebral Palsy that requires some extra support for therapy, days out and out of school activities.

If you live in the area of Newport, and surrounding areas, we would love to hear from you.

You will be welcomed into her family home to work closely with her family and therapists. They would like nothing more than this little girl to live a full and valued life, as her Support Worker, you would help make this possible You will encourage her to try different activities, learn about what she loves and continue to help her thrive. She enjoys going out and about, swimming, playing with friends and much more.

**Your Role**

You will be a warm, friendly face in her life, helping to keep her safe. While maintaining calm, you will help with
- Updating the communication book with any needs.
- Providing personal care (toileting)
- Liaising with her family, case manager therapists and teachers.
- Accompanying the family on holidays if required.
- Taking her on days out
- Encouraging her to engage with her therapists

Above all, you will help to keep this little girl safe and happy, meeting her needs and daily routines.
- £15.00 per hour.
- 3 days every week, covering the hours of 3pm - 7pm Wednesday and Friday (collecting from school) and Saturday or Sunday 8 hours 9.30am - 5.30pm (these days and hours may need to be flexible)
- Bank hours available.
- Experience is preferred, but full training is provided.
- Car Driver Essential.
