Construction Labourer

Job Purpose:
To assist all aspects of site labour including site management and skilled trades by providing general manual and construction skills wherever required.

Job Duties:

- Have good all-round hands on labouring / trade skills
- Be able to use a range of hand tools
- Liaise with site/ project managers to ensure all required duties are undertaken effectively
- Collection and disposal of site-generated waste using company vehicles
- Ensuring sites are in a clean and tidy order
- Performs various manual labour tasks requiring some specialized skills to assist in the work of skilled tradesmen and craftsmen such as joiners, plumbers, painters etc.
- Dig trenches and similar excavations, refill excavations, spreads and levels to grade dirt, gravel and other materials
- Other general labour and construction related duties as required.
- Strict adherence to company Health and Safety procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures. - **must**
- Operate a manual transmission vehicle with full UK drivers licence. - **must**
- Ability to prioritise tasks - **must**
- CSCS Labourer Qualification (or equivalent). - preferred
- 2+ years’ construction industry experience - preferred.
- Comfort working in varying weather conditions. - preferred
