**We are looking for a Building Connections Administrator to join the NSPCC as we launch a brand new service for young people experiencing loneliness.**

The NSPCC is further expanding its national offer with a new UK-wide service targeted specifically at supporting young people experiencing loneliness. This service matches trained befrienders (staff or volunteers) with a young person over a set number of sessions, with the goal of increasing a young person's resilience to feelings of loneliness and strengthening their overall support networks. The service has a particular focus on being accessible to young people from diverse, marginalised and/or minority backgrounds.

The Building Connections Administrator will be integral to the success of the NSPCC Building Connections Service. The post holder will provide efficient administrative support to all staff and volunteers in the Building Connections Service. Specifically, the post-holder will:

- Be the face of the Building Connections Service, managing a central inbox and phone line and acting as the first point of contact for queries from staff, volunteers, external partners or members of the public.
- Support with the recruitment and on-boarding activities for volunteers, including having a strong coordination role in the training programme for new volunteers.
- Support with the creation, maintenance and processing of accurate volunteer records

The administrator will work office hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
