We are looking for experienced and committed Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
**Meet our service user**
Our service user is a sociable and friendly lady in her 50s who lives in Sydenham in her family home with her daughter. She requires support with her complex care needs throughout the day on a 1:1 basis.
At home she enjoys watching her favourite TV programs such as Loose Women, various series on Netflix and loves spending quality time with her family and care team. A key aspect of this role involves being out in the community with our service user, enjoying their hobbies, interests and accessing her favourite social activities.
A good pamper session is another favourite pastime of hers, especially having her hair washed and nails done, and enjoys the occasional takeaway when she can.
At home you will provide support with all aspects of her care and companionship, this includes personal care, moving and handling, clinical observations and attending to her clinical care needs where required.
**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team**
**To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following**:
- 3 months of previous care experience
- Personal Care experience
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
**Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role**:
- Epilepsy Care
- Seizure Management
**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Days
- 2 Shifts Per Week
- 8:00am-8:00pm
- Alternate weekends are needed for this position
**Take a look at our pay rates**
Weekdays: £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weekends £14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holidays £15.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12-hour shift)
