Here at **Atherstone**, we have a team of around 580 colleagues. We produce Sandwiches, Wraps, Rolls, Bircher pots, and Toasties for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Aldi, Costa, and many more.

**Contract Type**: Permanent - Fulltime

**Shift Pattern/ Time**: 22:00 - 06:00, 5/7 days

**Rate**: £12.27 per hour

**Location**: Greencore, Carlyon Road Industrial Estate, 7, Carlyon Rd, Atherstone CV9 1LQ

**(Please note this is a full-time role only)**

**What you'll be doing**
- In this role, you will undertake hygiene tasks including the cleaning of equipment within production areas to the required hygiene standard.
- Duties will include: Carry out day to day disassembling and assembling of production machinery to enable the hygiene team to carry out cleaning.
- Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel
- Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel
- Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Manager
- Carry out hygiene activities when needed in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity
- Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift plan

**What we’re looking for**
- Proficient in performing general warehouse hygiene duties, including the assembly and disassembly of machinery for thorough cleaning
- Strict adherence to written approved procedures for hygiene tasks, with attention to completing logbook entries by company standards
- Promotion of a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within the department
- Effective communication abilities, both in reading and writing
