**Job Purpose**:

- As part of a multidisciplinary Compliance and Consultancy Team you will support the MSS Consulting with the successful delivery of domestic energy surveys including retrofit surveys, stock condition surveys, EPC’s and SAP assessments. As a retrofit assessor at The MSS Group, you will contribute towards and support a client focussed approach of delivering optimum service through working proactively, efficiently and producing high-quality reports.
- Consideration will be given to providing Retrofit Assessment training for experienced Domestic Energy Assessors

**Accountabilities**:

- The key duties of the Retrofit Assessor will be to conduct Retrofit Assessments / Whole Home Surveys to a high standard and report all findings
- Complete retrofit assessments in line with the latest governmental legislation and guidance
- Complete other domestic energy surveys such as EPC assessments, RdSAP, Stock Condition Surveys
- Assist with the completion of SAP Assessments
- To carry out any other reasonable additional tasks required by the business

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Complete all domestic energy assessments in accordance with industry standards, client requirements and within agreed timescales.
- Provide accurate reports to Project Manager’s as required.
- Provide effective advice to clients in a professional manner.
- Positive and professional representation of MSS Consulting and the MSS Group.
- Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with Health and Safety standards and regulations.
- No issues raised in internal or external audits.
- Effective adherence to vehicle policy at all times offering methods of improvement where possible.
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Accurate completion of tasks
- Clear and concise communication

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**

**Essential**
- Domestic Retrofit Assessor Certification
- Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor or equivalent.
- Demonstrate competence through training records and experience.
- The ability to work alone whilst following strict quality control systems and operational procedures.
- Full UK Driving License.

Consideration will be given to providing Retrofit Assessment training for experienced Domestic Energy Assessors

**Desirable**
- TrustMark accreditation
- Certified Assessor with either Elmhurst or Stroma
- 6Months+ experience within the energy assessment field.
- Knowledge of SAP and RdSAP assessment models
- Working towards Non-Domestic Energy Assessor accreditation (Level 4 or Level 5)

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- surveying: 1 year (preferred)
- 6 Months+ experience within the energy assessment field.: 1 year (preferred)
- Knowledge of SAP and RdSAP assessment models: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Domestic Retrofit Assessor Certification (preferred)
- Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor or equivalent. (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cardiff, CF24 5RE
