An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team here **in Jewson Oban **as a **Part-time** **Yard Assistant. **This role offers a great level of variety, as you will have a balanced mix of responsibilities; working in the yard, assisting throughout the warehouse, and helping on the counter and shop floor when needed.

**What will I be doing in this role?**
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Offering first class customer care to all customers ensuring we understand their projects and can offer the best products
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
- Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock count
- Loading and unloading lorries and customer vehicles
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Using Forklift truck to move stock safely

**Hours of Work**

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 13:00 or 09:00 - 14:00 (opportunity to flex up to full time hours) + every second Saturday 08:00 - 12:00

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £14,118.00 per year
