Senior Gardener

We are looking for an experienced full-time gardener to join us at Grassgo Ltd. We are a professional garden maintenance company who offer a very high standard to our customers. The ethos of Grassgo Ltd is to produce a prestigious look to all gardens. We are based in Hillington and work in Greater Glasgow area.

The job will entail working as part of small teams under the Head Gardener.
- Minimum of 3 years proven gardening experience and good practical skills in garden maintenance; involving pruning hedges and shrubs, mowing, flowerbed maintenance (weeding and pruning) and planting; including the regular use of power tools and have an eye for detail
- Good plant knowledge and understanding of correct horticultural practice
- Good work ethic - reliable, punctual, hardworking and able to work in all types of weather
- Have a clean Full UK Driving license
- Physically fit with excellent teamwork abilities
- Good communication skills
- Formal horticultural qualifications (colleague, RHS 2 or equivalent). PA1/PA6 spraying and chainsaw certificates an advantage

Working hours are 8 am until 4:30/ 5 pm Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work.

Rate starts at £13-14 / hour, with extra drivers' bonus. This is a permanent full-time role, with an initial 3 months’ probation period.
