**Job Profile**:
Technical Trainer required for a well-established aluminium and steel façade / curtain walling specialist. The role will involve providing technical training to existing customers (fabricators) of architectural aluminium and steel systems as well as carrying out site inspections of installations at customer sites when required. The suitable Technical Trainer will have a strong background in the fenestration / façade experience.

The position will suit an Installation Engineer / Technical Engineer or Trainer with proven experience working with curtain wall / architectural aluminium systems. You will be required to travel to Milton Keynes (around 3 days a week) to provide training to customers and company employees.

Technical Trainer Position Overview
- Create training courses for customers on all company products and services.
- Assist customers with first time installs
- Train and give support to customers in the manufacture of aluminium and steel systems, based upon order manuals, fabrication drawings and the guidelines and recommendations relating to the specific system being trained.
- Provide theoretical and practical training courses to meet the needs of company employees.
- Provide Training seminars through multiple channels including face to face and online and in attendance at customer premises when required.
- Create course material, presentations and assessments across all products.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of industry standards and legislation.
- Maintain customer and organisational training records and assessments
- Produce site and investigation reports
- Work with training teams to develop course material.
- Create and maintain customer training programmes in line with commercial requirements

Technical Trainer Position Requirements
- A background in the façade / fenestration sector
- Experience in creating courses and training development
- Inspection, technical support and training experience
- UK Driving licence
- Live in within commutable distance to the Milton Keynes area

Technical Trainer Position Remuneration
- Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
- Access to company vehicle (when required to travel)
