Library Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Library Assistant. As a Library Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the library and providing excellent service to library patrons.

**Duties**:

- Assist customers with locating and accessing library materials
- Check in and check out library materials using the library's automated system
- Process new library materials, including cataloging, labeling, and shelving
- Assist with organizing and maintaining the library's collection
- Help plan and implement library programs and events
- Assist with technology support
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and processing interlibrary loan requests

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
