**Salary**: £15,579 - £19,507 (£25,965 - £32,512 FTE)
The Team Coordinator will work across the team to provide administrative support and ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of our small and busy team’s work, which encompasses the Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches (DAC), the Area Mission and Pastoral Committees (AMPCs) and the Closed Churches Task Group (CCTG). The DAC supports parishes in maintaining their church buildings and making appropriate changes, the AMPCs look at ways to better organise parishes through boundary changes and other means, and the CCTG considers new uses for churches that have closed. The team as a whole has a crucial role in delivering the buildings and governance aspects of the Diocese’s strategic framework of _Barnabas: Encouraging Confidence. _This is a framework which delivers support to churches to move forward in mission, ministry and sustainability by providing access to resources and support at different levels according to their existing strengths and needs.
The Team Coordinator will play a key role in drawing together the different aspects of the team’s remit in a consistent way and ensuring the smooth operation of all our work. This will be achieved by providing robust administrative support and assisting the team in keeping abreast of casework and the development of resources. The Team Coordinator will be central to ensuring good external communication with parishes, having primary responsibility for upkeep of our webpages, liaison with the Communications team over stories, dissemination of new guidance, and organisation of training events.
The package includes a competitive salary, flexi-time scheme, reimbursement of car and travelling expenses, an 8% non-contributory pension with an additional 5% matched contributions, hybrid working (50%), and 25 days’ annual leave pro rata plus bank holidays and four customary days a year (between Christmas and New Year, pro rata).
