We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Highways, Transport & Operations team as a Grade G5 worker. As a mobile worker, you will have the chance to work across various sections, including grounds maintenance, waste management, and street cleansing, based on service demands. This is a diverse and dynamic role that requires flexibility and a willingness to contribute to different areas of the service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake operational tasks in grounds maintenance, waste management, and street cleansing.
- Plan and schedule daily work activities to optimize efficiency and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Operate various equipment and tools related to the service, such as vehicles, machinery, and hand tools.
- Drive a range of vehicles up to a combined MAM of 7.5 tonnes (Category C1).
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, following procedures and reporting any incidents or risks.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in waste management, fleet services, grounds maintenance, or street cleansing would be advantageous.
- A full driving license with a minimum Category C1 qualification.
- Hold an appropriate Health and Safety qualification.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent practical experience in one or more environmental disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and maintaining a clean and green environment.
