**JOB OVERVIEW**
The University of Sheffield International College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated College Assistants to join our vibrant Student Experience Team
In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring a positive start for our international students and a smooth transition to their university studies. You'll be involved in a range of activities related to student induction, engagement, and recruitment.
**Supporting New Arrivals**:
Our courses begin in late September, mid-January, and early March. You'll be instrumental in guiding new students through their first few weeks in the UK during these induction periods.
You'll contribute to our "Meet and Greet" program, welcoming students at the airport and helping them settle into their new surroundings. This may involve some weekend work.
**Building a Thriving Community**:
You'll collaborate with student representatives and the college engagement team to support the organisation of events throughout the academic year. These events will help new students integrate into UK life and build friendships.
