Interaction Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a growing organisation based in Peterborough that are currently looking to expand their team.
My client is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their dynamic team on a full-time permanent basis.
**LOCATION: PETERBOROUGH**
**SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE)**
**WORKING HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:00AM - 5:30PM**
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Booking and updating deliveries onto internal systems
- Routing fleet vehicles around the UK to various depots and destinations
- Ensuring that deliveries are made on time
- Liaising with customers and drivers to make sure that deliveries are made on time and in accordance with expectations
- Liaising with various depots to find out regular updates
- Collate defects and rectification spreadsheets
- Instruct and advise drivers on defect reporting
- Managing work flows and monitoring updates

This role would suit someone that has worked in a busy office managing multiple deadlines and managing workflows.
**The Person**:

- Experience working in a logistics/transport role (Essential)
- Exposure to a warehouse setting (Desirable)
- Ability to remain calm in high pressured environment
- Ability to have tough conversations when needed
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Logical and methodical with a high attention to detail
- Computer literate
