**Overview of the CAD Technician**

2Fawcett are recruiting for a CAD Technician for a excellent company based in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an employee focused company with interested projects based in Harrow.

**Roles and Responsibilities of the CAD Technician**
- Responsible for producing AutoCAD / Revit drawings for all stages of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing design, installation and the delivery of projects.,
- Setup drawings and make ready for other team members to work on.
- Review project files for compliance with standards/protocols.
- Implement best practice procedures.
- Liaise with engineers, design team to resolve design problems, technical queries of on-going site installation.
- Produce as built drawings from site survey/marked up installation drawings.
- Coordinate drawing production in line with project programme requirements and in conjunction with others.
- Capable of working in Revit
- Helping to technically deliver CAD projects
- Provide drawings and technical information related to the project and requirements of the client.
- Modelling and co-ordination of MEP services i.e. ductwork, pipework, cable tray etc. using AutoCAD & Revit MEP.
- Create legends & schedules.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team.
- Maintaining CAD library.
- Check work for accuracy and quality control purposes.
- Liaise with the team leader regarding workload and delivery of drawings in accordance with required timescales.
- Keeping directory of drawings up to date and documented.

**Requirements of the CAD Technician**
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- HNC or equivalent is desirable
- Minimum 3 Years’ experience with CAD
- Attention to detail
- Strong Organisational skills
