**Overview**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Supervisor on days based at our site in Portbury. This role is part of our Home Delivery Network, we store and deliver furniture on behalf of some well-known brands, including M&S and Loaf. As an experienced leader, your experience, drive and determination will be utilised well within this challenging and rewarding role. The successful applicant will have 1 team leader reporting to them and up to 8 warehouse operatives. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is ready to step up to their first supervisor role and begin their career journey into management.

Shifts are Monday to Saturday any 5 from 6 and 12:00 to 20:00

£33,000 - £35,000 starting salary dependant on experience

**How will you contribute?**
- Proactively managing and motivating the team and the shift, engaging colleagues to ensure the best performance.
- Manage the team to achieve targeted daily and weekly Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure department operates in line with all company and customer procedures and requirements relating to Health and Safety
- Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to throughout the operation, with exceptional focus on health and safety
- Encourage a culture of excellent customer service ‘right first time’ with the team
- Ensure sufficient resource is available in order to meet performance expectations
- Responsible for driving high levels of employee engagement
- Work closely with the Transport team to ensure that all plans are adhered to
- Ensure that any performance, conduct or capability issues are thoroughly investigated, and any required resulting actions are completed in a timely manner.

**What will you bring?**
- An experienced manager/ supervisor with customer service focus within in a high volume, time critical warehouse environment
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan or similar)
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well under tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail and a right first-time approach
