London, United Kingdom Mazars Full time

Our Accounting and Outsourcing Services (AOS) team supports clients who choose to outsource part, or all of, their finance function. This could include transactional accounting, periodic reporting, payroll or ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax legislation. Reflecting the relentless pace of technology change, our AOS team advises clients both in respect of business performance but also process and digitalisation, whilst building enduring relationships that position Mazars as a business adviser. Our successful team of around 375 professionals is growing across all areas including cloud accounting, payroll, financial reporting, business advisory and company secretarial.

AOS Support provides operational assistance for the six Business Units (BUs) that make up AOS, a key deliverable of the team being an improvement in the financial performance of the BUs. Responsibilities include process automation and improvement, implementation of enhanced software functionality and managing new software deployment across the national team.

**Job Purpose**

As an Operations Executive in AOS Support you will be part of a small team who collaborate on business-critical projects, reporting to the AOS Support Operations Director. These projects will typically be technology and data driven, supporting the automation of tasks to deliver enhanced client service and improved financial performance. You will require a good understanding of our business and of the level of client service excellence we aim to achieve.

You will deliver training sessions where required to enhance the effectiveness of the changes we are implementing, and will be comfortable monitoring progress against our agreed objectives, producing regular status reporting for key stakeholders.

You will regularly liaise with colleagues from other AOS BUs in client facing roles to facilitate exceptional service for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on the delivery of national projects with the goal of improving the teams' processes and quality of output, and creating efficiencies through developing and embracing new ways of working.

Clients across AOS range from Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to larger corporates based both in the UK and Internationally, from a range of sectors including financial services, healthcare, education and consumer.

The initial focus of this role will be to operationally support two specific BUs, ensuring consistent national implementation of core client processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and training and supporting through a change management process. It is expected that these changes will deliver tangible improvements in both financial performance and quality. It is anticipated that this focus will be for the next 9-12 months with further projects or processes being on the basis of business need.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- With BU involvement and support from the AOS Support Operations Director, research and develop potential technology solutions and process changes to deliver increased quality or efficiency
- Organise and deliver training associated with the implementation of these new ways of working or new technologies
- Align to a defined governance framework inclusive of a standard completion of templates that align to this framework
- Deliver effective software management including supplier relationship management, to maximise usage and minimise the cost for the business, working with the nominated BU contacts who are responsible for effective use of each software
- Produce regular status updates for key stakeholders to monitor progress against agreed goals and recommend changes in approach where required
- Build strong working relationships with staff internally, within departments across the business and with varying levels of seniority
