- Hambleton, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 8TL- The Rutland Water Nature Reserve is an internationally famous nature reserve managed by the Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust in partnership with Anglian Water, and an internationally important wildfowl sanctuary. The Senior Reserve Officer is a lead member of the Reserves Team working all aspects of practical management of the Reserve. **Role Description**:
The Senior Reserve Officer is a lead member of the Reserves Team working all aspects of practical management of the Reserve. The role will work alongside the Senior Species and Recording Officer and will lead a dedicated team of staff, trainees and volunteers.

**About You**:

- A sound multi-disciplinary background in ecology, land management access, livestock management and recreation.
- Experience of nature conservation and habitat management.
- Experience of managing and leading nature conservation staff and volunteers.
- A strong track record of engaging people in nature conservation work.
- A proven effective project manager able to finish projects on time and to a high standard.
- A high level of commitment and enthusiasm for protecting and restoring the natural environment and its wildlife.
- A great team worker and communicator.

Due to the nature of the role, a full current UK driving licence is essential.
