A fantastic Nursery based in Royston are looking for a passionate and dedicated level 2 or 3 nursery practitioner to join their evergrowing team. This nursery is situated in the heart of the historic market town of Royston in Hertfordshire, with excellent links to the A10, a few minutes away from the town centre.

What we need from you:

- Level 2/3 qualification in childcare or higher
- Commitment
- Passion to deliver outstanding childcare
- Ability to work within a team
- Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding

Your duties will include:

- Taking charge of a key group of children
- Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
- Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning.
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
- Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (required)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (required)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Full and relevant childcare qualification (preferred)
