Permanent Product Manager, Infrastructure / ITIL

This role can be remote with adhoc travel to the Birmimgham office.

Hays are working with an IT Telecoms company who are on the look out for a specialist Product Manager who is experienced within IT Infrastructure and networking.
Working under the Head of Product you will be required for end to end product delivery.

- Developing technical Managed IT/ Managed Network Service repeatable solutions to meet the business requirements of new and existing customers/channel partners. The technical
- solution should leverage components of existing product strategy and fulfil all internal operational and support guidelines.
- Establish and maintaining relationships with 3rd party integrators and Channel Partners to ensure solutions can be tailored from all available products and services.
- Use a consultative approach when developing new propositions both in terms of scoping
- technical requirements but also understanding customer and market requirements to identify broader solution opportunities across the entire ITL product portfolio.
- Ensuring the commercial parameters of proposed Managed IT / Managed Network solutions relate positively to the customers' budget availability.
- Present at all customer levels (e.g. Board, manager, user) and internal levels to gain customer and ITL sign off to proposals. This should also be supported with accurate and
- professionally compiled customer proposal documentation including bid response documents, proposal documents and associated business case information.
- Working cross-functionally to collate accurate costings for Managed IT / Managed
- Network solutions and assist the business in building internal business case approval.
- Work closely with the Managed Services MD for the Managed IT / Managed Network
- Services to define the Products strategic direction.
- Lead product management for the Microsoft based products they sell.
- Manage product lifecycles and maintain the Managed IT and Managed Network Services product roadmap.
- Work with our development and engineering teams to deliver and launch new Managed IT and Managed Service features.
- Work with Marketing to produce product collateral that stands out from the crowd.
- Work with our in-house trainer to develop sales and pre-sales training for how to use and sell products.
- Manage relevant suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct competitor analysis.
- Help to build awareness of our brand through engagement with customers and suppliers.
- Work with our commercial team to generate and Managed IT and Manage Service pricing and terms.
- Identify market opportunities and to define innovative and disruptive services to capture shares of these markets.
