Autonomy Care Group provides residential and community support for adults, children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. We are recruiting a full time HR Assistant to join our friendly and professional HR team based at our head office in Melksham, Wiltshire.

As HR Assistant you will be an integral member of the team helping to ensure the smooth operation of the HR Department. You will support the HR team with recruitment, on-boarding and retention tasks along with general HR administration activities.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Completing pre employment reference checks
- Issuing offer letters, employment contracts and employee handbooks
- Maintaining accurate employee records on the HR system
- Assist with measuring recruitment and retention performance
- Represent the company at job fairs, sector and community events
- Meeting administration including minute taking

You do not need to have a background in HR, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual that is looking to develop their HR career.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong administration skills, confident and competent using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel mainly)
- Good standard of education, including a minimum of GCSE’s, or equivalent, in Math’s and English.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential as there will be a requirement to travel to service locations and community engagement / recruitment activities.

Hours of work: 40 per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

**Salary**: £22,000 - £23.350 per annum

- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
