Brian Jackson College are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team, working across both sites.
As part of the college leadership team your role will be to:

- Support the Head Teacher to determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEN) policy and provision across both Huddersfield and Heckmondwike colleges.
- Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEN policy and coordination of specific provision to support individuals with SEN or disability.

Reporting to the Head Teacher, and Deputy Heads, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate SEN pupil records, the school SEN provision map and SEN Policy as well as the management of the provision for pupils with SEND, particularly for those who have EHC Plans. Experience in supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges is essential.
