Loading Shovel Operator

Global Highland are currently looking to for a Production Operator with a Loading Shovel Operator or a Telehandler for one of our clients based in Ross shire.

The position requires a dedicated individual with the ability to perform in all site operational production activities within the site. The main role as loading shovel operator, reporting to the Site Manager. It is essential to hold a vocational loading shovel, (front end bucket loader), or telehandler licence with bucket loading experience.
- **Key Skills**_
- Possess a front-end bucket loader, (loading shovel), or telehandler license, ideally with proven bucket loading experience.
- To demonstrate understanding of mobile plant including the need for daily inspections and operator preventative maintenance techniques.
- Experience of loading hoppers, HGV vehicles etc.
- Demonstrate experience of bulk material handling, receiving into store, handling and dispatch of products.
- Carry out equipment inspections and safety checks within their working area.
- Possess a counterbalance FLT license, (not essential as training can be provided).

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £15.00-£18.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Dingwall, Highland: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- telehandler or Loading shovel: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- telehandler license (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- CPCS (preferred)
