**Location: RAF Cranwell, NG34 8HB**

**Term: Full Time/Perm**

**Salary: Up to £28,000**

This role is a permanent role and is a new position.

The Handy man is an exciting new role is a brand new to MoD contracting and us unique to the new FDIS contract. It will allow Vivo to provide self delivery of certain Planned Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, Billable works and direct work for the establishment.

The Handyman will be based at Royal Airforce College Cranwell (near Sleaford, Lincolnshire), however will support adjacent military establishments as part of the role. They will usually operate in normal working hours, 40 hours per week.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Comply with the requirement so of JSP375,
- Ensure that all documentation produced is of a high quality and comply with the requirements of Vivo and the FDIS contract.
- Planned Maintenance to comply with MOD SFG 20
- Be a champion the Zero Harm policy,
- Provide technical support as required.
- Meet all KPI’s,
- Keep the estate statutory compliant,
- Fully comply with assurance processes,
- Champion excellence in delivery and first-time fix.
- Defend Vivo against abortive costs from supply chain/Vivo activity.
- During working activities, present Vivo in the best possible light, with the Handyman, Vivo office teams and the First Tear supply chains all part of the Vivo family.
- To be part of the on-call rota.

**What you’ll need to do the role**:

- Practical qualification such as C&G’s, BTECs etc would be an advantage.
- A practical and problem solving individual, which is proactive and enjoys working with people.
- To have lived knowledge of working with planned maintenance, response maintenance and delivery of small projects.
- To be a health and safety ambassador,
- To be part of an on-call rota for out of hours emergency response (this usually involves a phone call from the Vivo Help Desk and that information is then passed to the appropriate on-call engineer for them to attend.)
- Advantageous to be a member of a suitable professional body.
- Be available for some (usually infrequent), Out of Hours work / site attendance.

Please note that BPSS Clearance will be required for this role
