**THE ROLE**

Pembroke College, Cambridge, is
seeking to elect a new Master to
succeed Lord Chris Smith, who will
retire in July 2025. (In Pembroke the
term ‘Master’ is used for any

experience, either in academic life
or in some other field of activity, to
provide leadership of a thriving,
self-governing institution. The

the College both within the
