**The Role**:
The Head of Supply Chain Insight role is home-based. You will be primarily accountable for engaging with the industry’s supply chain community across FMCG. Through networking and building relationships with key people, you will appreciate their needs, priorities, issues and opportunities. Delivering value for customers and driving retention of existing business and acquisition to grow the product. This means delivering impact for customers and ensuring that we deliver our commercial targets. Ultimately researching, evaluating and answering some of the toughest supply chain questions for your customers across the industry.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

- Delivering insight to a global manufacturer on supply chain performance benchmarks, the next, you’ll write a report on how the industry can fix inbound service
- Understanding specific customer issues, creating insights and solutions that give answers
- Being the face of the supply chain offer, directing a team of analysts to produce insights that are progressive, dynamic & grounded. This will involve continuous development of the product offer
- Creating and delivering the product strategy, including fulfilling service level agreements with customers. Customer engagement and commercial targets are the key measures of success
- Interacting with some of the industry’s most well-known businesses. You will drive the agenda and actions on key issues and create communities to address industry challenges
The ideal person for this Head of Supply Chain Insight role will have relevant background in the supply chain and have deep knowledge and passion for best practice and building capability, with an excellent track record of delivering commercial results.

You'll also need a background in:

- Understanding customer needs, meeting and exceeding their expectations. The ability to develop credible, lasting relationships
- The operational and strategic needs of food and consumer goods supply chains. Extensive knowledge of food and supply chain trends and developments and what they mean for operators
- Leading change projects and facilitating workgroups, with the ability to cope with the pace of change. A track record of guiding and inspiring a team to ensure timely and quality delivery
In addition, you'll need the following:

- An ability to translate complex ideas, in simple, compelling, action-focused language
- Creative thinking, a hands-on entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Extensive and project-based supply chain knowledge across consumer goods or food retail
- Extensive knowledge of the retail or manufacturing supply chain environment. Primarily, the role is insight-based rather than operational

**The Package**:
Basic salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
Bonus: You'll also be able to earn both a personal and company performance bonus, totalling up to £9,750 per annum
Benefits include:

- Car allowance - £6,500
- Pension - 12.5% employer - 5% employee

- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Hybrid policy but must be at least 1 day per week or as business requires
