We’re looking for an outstanding Head of Retouching to join Sky Creative Agency’s Advertising Design team

Reporting into the Creative Director for Advertising, this is a senior role leading a team of hard-working retouchers across a variety Sky business verticals. You will be responsible for the output coming from the retouching team, both internal and external resources

What you'll do:

- Working alongside the CD of Design to drive the quality of our advertising campaigns to award winning standards
- Have a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for pushing yours and your teams work above and beyond to create work that stops you in your tracks
- Successfully manage and produce multiple deadline driven projects whilst maintaining the utmost in accuracy and the highest visual quality
- Lead and manage a highly skilled team of internal retouchers and oversee workflows and quality of work from a range of external contractors
- Drive the direction and vision of the retouching department with a collaborative and mentor focused attitude
- Management of retouching workflow with the retouching resource manager, ensuring the best people are working on the correct jobs
- Drive relationships with external resources and ensure standards are kept high to assist the team in periods of overflow
- Assist with the scoping of project requirements, workflows, timings and deliverables with resource and production departments
- Work with the Head of Artwork to ensure smooth-flow final delivery of print and digital assets for campaigns
- Deliver against a clear set of agreed business and personal objectives

What you'll bring:

- Extensive experience with 2D/3D CGI project work
- Extensive shoot knowledge
- Excellent communication skills within all relevant parties in a face paced studio

- Extensive industry contacts and comms which will help aid your team management and product
- Experience working with dedicated workflow tools is a plus but not essential

Your office base:
Osterley:
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
