Production Assembly Operator

Challenge trg Recruitmentare looking for Production Operators with experience within the automotive sector for a client based in Cwmbran.

Days: 6am-2pm
Nights: 10pm-6am
Afternoons: 2pm-10pm

Previous experience within the automotive industry is essential.

Pay rates:
First 6 weeks hourly rate: £13.13 days and afternoons,£14.02 nights
Post 6 weeks hourly rate: £14.08 days and afternoons,£14.97 nights.
**Your duties will include**:
Assembling of safety-critical products ensuring 100% accuracy
Must be able to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment
Experienced in the use of hand, power and air tools
Participate in the principles of teamwork
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
Must operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand
Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours.
Hand and eye coordination
Must be able to work overtime when required
Operating drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation
Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Cwmbran: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
