Think Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for a business in the Guildford area who are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager.

Role responsibilities
- Manage a team of Accounts Payable Assistants
- Manage purchase ledger comprehensively and accurately on their newly implemented ERP System
- Reconciliation of all intercompany invoicing.
- Providing Financial Controller with weekly and month-end reporting
- Producing Intercompany Reconciliations
- Overseeing Weekly and Monthly payment runs.
- Overseeing Monthly reconciliation of Accounts Payable
- Undertake appraisals for the members of team.
- Undertake hiring procedures for new additions to the team.
- Work in collaboration with external Auditors for the Year-End Audit
- Work on improving systems and processes

You will be expected to:

- Operate in a professional capacity, in line with business values, at all times
- Maintain strict levels of confidentiality
- Act with honesty and integrity at all times
- Carry out any other reasonable request to support the needs of the business

- Maintain consistent high levels of quality
- Have the ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and in a compelling manner, including explanation of complicated financial processes to non-finance staff and the operational management team
- Have the ability to organise, schedule and monitor tasks in order to meet tight deadlines
- Have extensive experience of a variety of accounting and operational systems
- Show high levels of experience and proficiency with MS Office, in particular strong Excel skills
- Have an ability to interact with people at all levels, in an effective manner
- Have a flexible approach to work within a high growth, rapidly changing environment
- Have commitment to continuous personal development
- Take full ownership of problems and issues

This role will require 3 days in the office per week.
