Job Purpose

Responsible for the despatching of product from site, right first time and in full in line with internal and external customer expectations.

Principle Accountabilities:

- Improve work as part of a team to achieve departmental KPI’s with respect to Right first time (RFT), on time in full (OTIF).
- Ensure pre use fork lift and crane checks have been carried out and documented in line with Health and safety policy.
- Completing/updating all in process documentation as required.
- Prepare subcontracted products for collection or shipment including documentation.
- Pack products in line with Customers specification.
- Ensure test pieces are despatched according to Customers’ requirements.
- Load up collection vehicles with packed products for despatch.
- Pack product in line with customer specification ready for despatch.
- Support Fork Lift activities throughout the manufacturing process.
- Support annual stock take.
- Encourage and actively contribute to continuous improvement activity.
- Maintain a tidy working environment to expected levels of housekeeping and organisation at all times.

Essential experience / qualifications:

- Previous experience operating as an FLT driver.
- Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
