Mortgage Advisor

Our client is a customer focussed mortgage and savings provider based in Dorset. They have a new opportunity for an experienced, CeMap qualified Mortgage Advisor to join their team.

The purpose of the Mortgage Advisor is to provide customers a full advice and recommendation service for the organisation and support the overall growth within the Advisory Team.

The role can be predominately remote working, however there will be a requirement to attend their head office for training purposes, therefore, the individual does need to live within reasonable commuting distance.

The core hours are Monday - Friday, 9 - 5, however due to the nature of the role there will be a need for flexibility outside these hours, and there is an expectation to work Saturday mornings (1 in 3).

Duties of the Mortgage Advisor will include:

- Receive incoming calls to deal with all leads, online enquiries or existing customers enquiring about mortgages and other business opportunities and actively manage and track enquiries
- Maintain an excellent knowledge of the company’s mortgage products, underwriting, affordability requirements and all other products offered
- Attend events to promote the products and services, as necessary

The successful individual will possess:

- Fully CeMap qualified
- Previous Mortgage Advice experience, within high street lending (bank or building society)
