The purpose of the job is:

- To diligently complete the duties of the Credit Controller so that our Company is profitable and commercially successful in every aspect of our operations.
- To reduce our aged debt in timely manner by liaising with our debtors and internal stakeholders.

Position
Key deliverables:
The role will be responsible for:
- Following up on internal cases and queries that are delaying customer payment by working with internal stakeholders in our bill validation, customer care and sales teams.
- Using an assertive but tactful manner to negotiate payments from debtors.
- Working with escalation points (Finance Manager or the relevant Director) to resolve complex debtors’ cases.
- Handling debtor queries promptly, providing copy invoices and statements of account.
- Producing reports relating to credit control activity, progress, and aged debt for the Directors.
- Supporting the wider Finance team where required by the Finance Manager or a Director.

- Experience of working in a credit control position or function.
- Experience working as part of a team and by yourself to deliver different aspects of work.

- Experience working within a fast-paced and high growth organisation.

Other information

(37.5 hours/week)
- Salary: Circa £25k Dependant on experience + KPI bonus (upon successful completion of probation)
- Location: Office based Linlithgow
- Core working hours: 08:30-17:00

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
