Export/Traffic Planning Clerk

**Salary**: £26000 - 28000
We have an amazing opportunity for an Export/Traffic Planning Clerk
within a busy and expanding company in the Wednesbury area.
Duties and responsibilities:

- Manifesting Trailers/Advising head office of deliveries (special/next days) - Communication with Head office staff is vital. Attention to detail is a must. Trailers are planned day 1 for shipping day 2 from the transport notes.
- Liaising with Customs Re Manifests/sorting customs issues with customers - this is also time sensitive and you need to adhere to strict deadlines whilst trying to maximise trailers.
- Requesting GMRs/Movement Reference Numbers from external customs agents
- Managing Customs Deadlines
- As this is a split role half of your time would be spent in the planning department. Assisting with the planning of groupage multidrop/multi delivery bookings.
- Groupage / Pallet Planning - we are a multidrop/multi collection operation; you will be assisting in planning the daily collections on our own fleet of vehicles as well as a selection of Sub contract vehicles.
- Driver Debriefing
- Compliance Knowledge
- Tachograph / Driver Hours Knowledge
What you bring:

- Motivation and a willingness to learn and progress
- A knowledge of UK customs declarations
- Dynamism and ability to adapt and manage day to day business needs
- A good understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft packages

Monday to Friday 10:00 - 18:30
