Nursery Practitioner

We are currently recruiting a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner for a small nursery based in Whitefield, Greater Manchester

This role is a permanent position and can be either part time or full time role Monday to Friday (minimum 24 hours over 3 x 8 hour days).

One of the roles will be based in the baby room so experience in this age range would be beneficial.

- Level 2 or 3 in Childcare.
- Sound knowledge of EYFS
- Organisational skills
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive individual that loves working as a team
- Experience of working with children
- Punctuality, patience, reliability and trustworthiness.
- Be able to work between 3-5 full-days on a rota (3 days if part time)

**Responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner in Whitefield, Greater Manchester include**:

- Displaying a real passion for childcare.
- Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
- Observe and plan for your key children using the EYFS.
- Ensure the needs of the children are met, giving physical, emotional and intellectual guidance as appropriate.
- Lunch/snacks duty
- Promoting best practice in the nursery.
- Effectively supporting team members
