Procurement Coordinator

**Location**:Daventy, Northamptonshire

**Hours**:08:00am - 17:00pm

**Initial contract with potential permanent opportunity
**Procurement Coordinator **required to join a luxury automotive brand based in **Daventry** on a contract basis.

Our client is an automotive luxury brand, with a global reputation for bespoke restorations. Working with some of the most iconic designs, using modern engineering, this company is one of a kind and their diligence is second to none.

Due to continuous growth our client is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join the Global Procurement team who will report to the Senior Procurement Manager.

**Responsibilities of the** **Procurement Coordinator**:

- Generate purchase orders with suppliers to meet demand.
- Develop good relationships with suppliers, follow up and expedite orders if necessary.
- Review purchase orders against shipping documents for accuracy of details and closure of purchase orders.
- Updates purchase orders and reports for weekly meetings.
- Works in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrates the ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Experience required for the ideal Procurement Coordinator**:

- Previous experience in a buying / procurement role
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally from the automotive industry desirable but not essential.
- IT literate and confident in using Microsoft Office
