**Vocational Tutor Role Overview**

Trigon Recruitment are exclusively recruiting for a Vocational Skills Tutor with a well established and expanding independent Training Provider in the London area. The provider (Grade 2 Ofsted) delivers multiple contracts including Apprenticeships, StudyProgrammes and Traineeships. across a range of vocational areas. This is a full time permanent role which offers a competitive salary for the right applicant. The role will be focused around Customer Service, Business Admin and Employability (Generics)

**Duties of Vocational Skills Tutor**
- Keep on top of current trends and advise staff and management accordingly
- Support learners undertaking Study Programme and Traineeships to pass their Vocational Skills Qualifications through coaching and development
- Facilitate engaging and interactive workshops
- Be able to motivate and inspire young people aged 16 - 24
- Be able to assess and mark learners work to ensure it meets the required standards
- Be able to evidence high levels of feedback and differentiated learning
- All associated administration duties
- Develop resources if/when required

**Skills and Attributes required**
- Must hold relevant qualification i.e.PTTLS
- Have experience delivering vocational skills
- Be able to evidence occupational competence in either Customer Service/Business Admin
- Competence in developing learners through formal training, coaching and mentoring
- Good communication skills
- Organised
- Able to manage of a caseload of learners to ensure they achieve
- Strong inter personal Skills especially with 16-24 year olds.
- Have the ability to deliver interesting and inspiring lessons to learners
- Have a genuine passion for teaching
- Be able to control the classroom
