Estimator/telesales

If you are from a labelling print, packaging background (preferably) using estimating systems and want a challenge. Working and supporting with the Sales, Customer service, Production and Planning teams to develop cost estimates on routine and complex jobs as required by our customers.

JOB DUTIES

Analyse documentation to prepare time materials and cost estimates

Utilise Label Traxx estimating software to provide quotes and information

Plan jobs using a variety of substrates and printing methods

Revise estimates as required

Perform job cost analysis, develop knowledge of materials, recommend cost savings

Prepare estimates used by management for purpose ie planning, organising and scheduling work

Consult with sales, other departments and customers to discuss and formulate estimates

Maintain quality standards, assure quality standards are met before delivering a quote

Contact potential and existing customers to inform them of products and services

Put through relevant sales and contracts for sale of goods

Support sales and customer service, general admin where required

KEY SKILLS

Highly proficient numeracy skills

Detail orientated

Good negotiating skills, with understanding of the product features

Able to undertake project management

To work to deadlines

Commercial awareness of the Label, print and packaging industry

Proficient at using estimating software ( training given)

Excellent communication skills

Pay: From £23,000.00 per year
