We are currently looking for aspiring Early Years Educators for our Early Years Apprentice vacancies in Leicester.
Early Years Educators work with and care for children from birth to 5 years. They play a huge role in supporting children to have the best start to their education. You will be:
*Supporting and liaising with the Manager, Deputy and Level 3 Practitioners on a daily basis
*Maintaining security
*Working within the required standards, ratios and conditions of registration
*Adhering to Company Policies and Procedures and complying with the children’s acts of 1989 and 2004
*Implementing the Company Safeguarding/child Protection Policies and Procedures
*Support Manager, Deputy and Level 3 Practitioners in creating and maintaining successful and professional partnerships with parents/carers
*Ensuring close supervision of children during mealtimes and adhering to the allergy and dietary requirements of all the children within nursery
*Following company procedures for the positive management of children’s behaviour
*Compliance with Health & Safety legislation
*Remaining aware and observant of all health & safety issues in the nursery and wherever possible reducing the risk of an accident occurring through preventative actions.
*Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness/tidiness within nursery
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be awarded;
- A level L2/L3 Early Years Apprenticeship
- ICQ level L2/L3 early years qualification
- Level L2/L3 Award in Paediatric First Aid OR Level 3 Award Emergency Paediatric First Aid
**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship
**Salary**: £4.81-£8.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
