Yard Assistant

A great new opportunity has opened with a successful roofer’s merchant in Sidcup, London. They are looking for a Yard Assistant with experience in the roofing/construction industry, to assist with duties in the yard on a day to day basis.

Requirements of a Yard Assistant will be:

- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck, sorting stock and general housekeeping.
- Being aware of health and safety in the yard when undergoing tasks
- Great at communicating as you work in a team of other operatives and with the public

The ideal Yard Assistant would have:

- Forklift experience would be helpful but not essential
- A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in a similar role in the roofing/construction industry
