Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of
**‘Your Life, Your Choice’** and our strategy
**‘Best Lives Possible’.**

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards

**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers, to work within a well-established service, supporting 4 people. This service will be supporting people with learning and physical disabilities, whilst also promoting their choices, wellbeing and independence.

This service is a bungalow, which allows the people supported to move around easily. Each with separate bedrooms, they also have gardens to the front, side and rear of the home and shared spaces, such as the lounge, dining area, conservatory and kitchen. The lounge area is mainly used for relaxing and watching TV and the people supported like to eat their meals at the kitchen table with staff members.

The people supported here enjoy day trips out, pub lunches, shopping trips, walks in the local parks and getting out and about in the car with the staff team. they also enjoy a calm and quiet environment, as they can get quite anxious when its too loud. They also need support in all aspects of personal care and help and support in and around the community.

They would describe themselves as happy, friendly, warm-hearted and kind.

There is always between 2 - 4 staff members on shift at any one time & the typical shift patterns are as follows: 07:00 - 09:00, 08:00-21:00, 09:00-23:00 sleep, 09:00-16:00 & 09:00-20:00.

**Your values**:
We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why
**we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values **and
**we recruit people from all walks of life**; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
