**Apprentice / Qualified Arborist**

**About Us**

We are looking for an outstanding qualified climber with to expand our growing business for an immediate start. Work will be in the most part in urban and commercial settings in the Lothian area. You must have the ability to lead a team, but you must also be able to be part of a team. Punctuality is important to us, as well as efficient and effective working.

This role will include reductions, dismantles, fells, hedge cutting, stump grinding, using a woodchipper, dragging brash and groundwork where required.

Friendly, cheery disposition especially during breaktimes is highly desirable

The successful applicants will hold a full UK Driving License (and be over the age of 25 for insurance driving tipper trucks), CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 or NPTC equivalents, Forestry First Aid at Work or LANTRA equivalent competency certificates as a minimum, preferably refreshed within the last 5 years but not essential.

- Chainsaw Use From Rope & Harness. Cutting Of Trees Using Free-Fall Techniques - NPTC 204

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
