Walwick Hall Country Estate is located near Humshaugh, Hexham on the Old Military Road in Northumberland. It combines a Grade II-listed country house hotel and seven luxury self-catering suites, a purpose-built spa and leisure facility and offers a range of dining options to both residents and non-residents.

We are currently recruiting for Kitchen Porters to work in our busy kitchen here at Walwick Hall. The successful applicant will be responsible for the cleaning of dishes from the Restaurant, as well as maintaining high-standards of cleanliness across all areas in the kitchen. The role will also include taking deliveries and rotating stock where necessary. Minimum of 25 contracted hours a week.

**KP DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Cleaning Kitchen areas, equipment, floors
- Washing pots and pans
- Washing crockery and cutlery
- Receive and unpack deliveries
- Maintain stock rotation
- Empty rubbish and food bins
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Positive attitude and approach to work
- Flexibility to assist in other kitchen areas as required
- Ensure all equipment used is used in-line with training
- Pride in maintaining standards
- Ability to work in a team and take instruction.

**PREREQUISITES**:

- Immaculate personal presentation.
- High levels of personal hygiene.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable and well-stocked treatment area.
- Maintain equipment and products.
- Ensure daily task sheets are completed to the required standards.
