**About the Role**

We are now looking for a talented Youth Support Worker to help us achieve our mission. This role will be based out of our Bloomfield Site but may require some working from our Grange Park site and partner schools around Blackpool. The standard hours of working will be evenings with the occasional weekend.

Main duties of the role include:

- Ensure you have full understanding of the session plan before you are required to deliver a programme
- Ensure you have all of the required resources in place before you are required to deliver a programme
- Manage the group’s behaviour effectively to ensure their safety and wellbeing is always protected
- Build and maintain effective relationships with staff, volunteers, parents and other stakeholders.
- Have fun and make sure our young people do too

**Essential Requirements**
- An understanding of the issues faced by children and young people living in Blackpool
- Experience of working with children, young people and families in a community setting
- Experience of delivering educational and / or recreational activities to children and young people
- Ability to work with large groups of children and young people in a fast paced environment

**Salary**: £9.84-£11.24 per hour
